About the Lorax Project
On Earth Day 2008, Conservation International and the publishers (Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Random House) of the book launched The Lorax Project. The Lorax Project is an initiatitve to engage people of all ages to do their part to conserve the planet. This initiative helps generate funding, raise awareness and inspire action by passionate people worldwide. Support from The Lorax Project continues to be used to conserve important plants and flagship animals, critical for our planet to thrive.
